I’m excited to kick this blog post off in celebration that 4 amazing souls have already registered for the fall retreat I’m co-hosting, Release. Relax. Restore. While we have moved out of our early, early bird offer, you can still be an early bird. There is a tad more info at the end of this share.

I’m also in celebration of my most lucrative month EVER! And, the biggest thing to dance about is that none of these results were generated from overwhelm! I showed up ready to serve and spread my joy near and far, and this is what showed up. Because we are all interconnected, my clients are creating some pretty impressive things because of what I’m putting in the space.

Where can you let go of the reigns a little so there’s room for what you want most to find its way to you?

Today, we’re going to chat about leadership.

If you’re new to my page, the reason why I practice and preach about being a leader is because it’s one of the most important things to consider when you are designing the life and business/career of your dreams.

There is a palpable difference in the way leaders show up when they are committed to BEing a leader vs. DOing leadership

My boo and I went to see James Comey speak here in Charlotte, NC a few weeks ago, and I jotted down some key takeaways that I wanted to share with you.
Here there are:

📝 “Ethical leaders are kind and tough.” YES! It’s imperative to be able to bring both ways of being to the conversation if we are to truly show up in our power and cause leadership.
📝 “We must be both confidant and humble.” YES! People trust confidence. Being humble balances out our righteous egos.
📝 “Leaders don’t ask for loyalty; they serve.” Amen!
📝 “Leaders take joy in others achievements and are able to listen.”
📝 “Be comfortable enough in your own skin to let others shine.”
📝 “It’s hard to hate up close. Be with people.”

If you’re in a position of leadership, please consider hiring a mentor, coach, consultant, etc. to support you in your growth. We do not grow alone, and commitment to your evolution is your responsibility if you are serious about owing this title. As always, I’m here if there’s anything you’d like me to support you with.

And remember — people don’t do as we say; they do as we do, so get your practice on when it comes to leading by example. You will be pleasantly surprised when you see what happens!

Because self love and self care are the foundations of life and business/career, leaders require a higher level of self care. Now through August 31st, save $100 when you register for our fall retreat for balance and release. Put your deposit down today and watch the universe swoop in to help you make it happen.
