HOWDY, BRAVE & DARING LEADER,
The topic of today’s article is accountability. I have found for myself and my clients that when we have a system or a structure (which is masculine) to contain our flow and our rhythm (which is feminine), this is where it’s at. It’s like a yoga posture… you need to find your sweet spot!
Who or what keeps you accountable?
If you said your friends and family, my invitation is to consider they are not actually very good for that.
Why? They love you, and they will get on the court with you vs. stand for you to realize and actualize your bold vision.
I know because I’ve enrolled my peeps in my story when I’ve been afraid countless times and so have my clients, which is exactly why we have support outside of them.
What would be possible if you had a person or a group of persons to hold you to what you most want?
Like everything else I share about, accountability is a practice and practice makes progress.
Things that work for me to stay accountable are to practice booking things that will support me in advance — coaching sessions, yoga classes, workshops, trainings, mentoring sessions, etc.
If you’re resisting the structure(s) that will hold you accountable, just notice that and be curious as to what has you self-sabotaging yourself in such a way.
As always, I’m here if I can offer you any support.
