HOWDY, BRAVE & DARING LEADER,

The posture you see me in is called restorative fish posture. It has the power to stretch open your neck, throat, shoulders, upper abdomen, upper back, and spine all while creating a relaxed and calm feeling. During this past weekend’s mini retreats, which went swimmingly by the way, this was the first posture we took in our practice.

The longer I do the work that I do, the more present I am to accessing the mindset through everything but the mind. This is why you see me talking and offering so much about breath, about body, and about the soul.

If we focus on the mindset only, many of us tend to get stuck in the head. I find more and more that to create any lasting impact in the mind, is truly is the work of the heart. This is a huge reason why I created everything that I created for the mini retreats!

Our nervous system guides almost everything we think, say, or feel. and most humans I know are very under resourced.

If you are present to consistent stress and tension, it’s a sign that your nervous system is under supported, and you will have a lot of challenges creating and cultivating a radical mindset.

I am grateful that I have had the privilege at the age of 40 to have chosen to do all the work that I have done, and sometimes, I can’t help but think about where I would be if I had some of those resources at a younger age…

That curiosity is a huge part of what has me commuting up to Davidson every Thursday night as a volunteer leadership coach for Jr. High/High Girls with See Her Lead.

If you or anyone you know has a girl in the Charlotte metro age who is this age group and you would like to see her learn emotional intelligence, body positivity,  leadership skills, life skills, empowerment, etc., please consider joining us Thursday 11/5 from 7:45-8:30 PM at the Hurt Hub in Davidson to learn more!

If you plan on joining, email me at jenn@theboldthing.com, and I can share some more deets with you. If you are unable to join, but love the idea, email me.

If you are into this but not in Charlotte, this organization has other programs in other cities, and we are working on making it nationwide. Email me, and I can help you get the info you may need.

Lastly, if you want to get involved and volunteer, we need you! Let’s talk!

The plan after I get done co-leading for the school year is to start my own group down here in Charlotte, and we only need 4 for a group. PLEASE! Share this with someone who may need to see it. You literally could transform someone’s life.
