I was privileged to have created the opportunity to have been a speaker at the 2019 Voxy Summit last weekend. This event brought lady boss voice over actresses from across the country and beyond, and it was an absolute blast to give my signature Entrepreneur Envy talk. (See photo of me in action below.)

Speaking is a super aligned way for me to grow my business because it allows me to be visible while doing something I love.

During last weekend’s talk, I invited the courageous souls who were there to begin playing the game of alignment vs. balance because it works even better, in my opinion.

Balance feels a lot like a pendulum swinging back and forth while we never really stay there; it’s elusive.

The game of alignment is to acknowledge that there are no right or wrong choices, etc. There are simply decisions that move you closer to what you say you want or further from it. 

Living an aligned life, running an aligned business, and having an aligned career is the most energy rich way to live that I know of. In fact, it’s a lot like what happens when your spine is aligned and there is zero interference between your brain and your nervous system; it’s magic!

Step 1 of alignment is having a powerful future vision, “what for” or why. If you don’t have that, don’t bother doing anything else; it all starts here. If you’ve noticed that you’re not fully connected to this, it’s time to re-commit. 

Post what’s in your heart somewhere you can see it every single day. This is the tether for creating the life, business, and career of your dreams.
