Hey awesome,

I’m surprised you’re reading this right now if you want to know the truth.

I haven’t had this much resistance to putting my blog together since I committed to sharing it on a weekly basis 22 weeks ago.

If I’m honest with you, it’s because I didn’t set myself up to thrive as well as I could have. (Remember that triangle from last week’s newsletter?) And, you know what? I’m okay with it.

Intentional living isn’t something to perfect; it’s something to practice, which makes this an ideal time to throw in the reminder that oh, so many of us need — perfection is the one of the biggest killers of joy, and it will keep us stuckety-stuck-stuck-stuck!

While it isn’t easy, we humans have the ability to redirect the flow of our brain’s electricity so as to create a stronger muscle to intention. (Because this requires a lot of energy, we’ve got to keep our eye on our self care and notice where we’re giving away our power! >> always a good time to throw a plug in for some good ‘ole self-lovin’.)

For me, the blog is one of those things that becomes easy to quit doing if I start giving myself persimmon to skip weeks. When I begin getting lax in an area like that, I know it’s an invitation to step out of other commitments and into old ways of being and patterns that are not designed to keep me moving forward in my business and life.

That said, you won’t catch me skipping any newsletters until the brain trails for them are a good bit deeper.

When you look at your biz or life, is there any area that is easy to let fall by the wayside if there isn’t continuous momentum behind it? If you challenge yourself to see the forest through the trees, to connect to the bigger conversation at hand, who is there to be? What is there to do? How long are you willing to keep showing up until you see the result you said you’d see? Who or what will keep you connected to your what for?

As I’m asking you these questions, I’m looking for myself and being re-presenced to the face that I need to be firing on all cylinders to answer these from an empowered place. I need help with that, and the range of needs are plentiful. I know it’s non-negotiable for my nervous system to be neglected even a little.

If you’re interested in experiencing some of my favorite ways to support my nervous system so you can start leading a more thriving business and life, retreat with me for some releasing, relaxing, and restoring, in the Blue Ridge Mountains this November — early bird discount is good until June 1st!
